The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is preparing a travel programme offering ฿100 vouchers to Thai nationals and foreigners who live in the country. The first sales are scheduled for December 15, 2026, as the government seeks to encourage tourism spending outside weekends and public holidays.

Called “100 Baht Travel Across Thailand”, the programme will pair offers from participating businesses with an online sale named “SHOCK DEALS”. Eight sales rounds are planned on Tuesdays, running from December 15, 2026, to February 9, 2027. Redemption will be limited to Monday through Thursday, separate from the purchase dates.

Deputy government spokeswoman Lalida Persvivatana said more than 170 businesses were working with TAT on preparations. They include accommodation providers, restaurants, attractions, tourism activities, and health and beauty services.

Lalida explained that ฿100 is the voucher price under the online sale, rather than a uniform charge for participating services. No cash payments will be provided. Eligible services, redemption periods and any conditions imposed by individual businesses will need to be checked before purchase.

The government also wants tourism revenue to reach places beyond major destinations and help smaller businesses during quieter periods, including community shops and local transport operators. Full details on purchasing and participation remain pending, with TAT due to provide them through its official channels.
