A new aerial activity is scheduled to open on November 24 at Vietnam’s Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park in Quang Tri Province. Jungle Boss Tours will operate the paramotor flights under trial approval from authorities lasting until December 2027.

The company’s initial plan calls for 5 to 6 paramotors, with weather determining whether it can carry up to 200 guests per day. Each passenger will be accompanied by a licensed pilot on a tandem flight lasting 20 minutes.

Sites where flights will depart and return are being mapped around Phong Nha. Routes have yet to be finalised, but potential views include limestone peaks, farmland, the Son River and surrounding countryside.

Planned safety procedures include regular maintenance of the gliders. Before each departure, experienced pilots will inspect equipment, assess weather conditions and brief passengers. Ground support staff, communications facilities and an emergency response plan are also planned.

The debut will coincide with Quang Tri Culture and Tourism Week. Tourism officials hope the flights will add another way to see an area already visited for its caves and jungle treks.
