Jakarta to host Pokémon anniversary festival and 5-kilometre run
The festival at fX Sudirman will be free to enter, while run tickets cost Rp899,000 before tax and administration fees.

AKG Entertainment will hold a two-day Pokémon celebration in Jakarta on 12–13 December 2026, marking the franchise’s 30th anniversary. The programme includes a festival at fX Sudirman and a roughly 5-kilometre run around Gelora Bung Karno on 13 December.
The company, Pokémon’s master licensee in Indonesia, said the free Pokémon Festival Zone would be open to visitors whether or not they join the run. A Time Tunnel installation will trace the franchise’s development since 1996 through video games, trading cards, anime and fan activities.
Other planned attractions include life-size Pokémon figures, themed photo areas, Pikachu meet-and-greet sessions and parades. Visitors will be able to try the trading card game, Pokémon video games on Nintendo Switch 2, Pokémon Mezastar and Pokémon GO. A pop-up shop will sell official merchandise.
The run will draw on nine Pokémon regions, from Kanto to Paldea. Participants will choose Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle as their initial partner, complete three Gym Battle Zone challenges and search for nine Pokémon along the route. Finding Mew will earn an additional sticker.
Participants whose completion is verified will receive a Pikachu promotional card, a 30th-anniversary finisher medal and two trading-card booster packs.
Run tickets are priced at Rp899,000 per person, excluding tax and administration fees. Sales are scheduled to close at 12.00 WIB on 15 November 2026. Race packs can be collected on 8–12 December at Atrium Senayan Park, Main Hall 1 & 2, Jakarta, with registration confirmation and identification required.
