BigBang concerts drive hotel demand in Hanoi
Sheraton Hanoi West reports sold-out rooms for October 24 and 25, while fans are also extending visits to explore the city.

Rooms at Sheraton Hanoi West for October 24 and 25 have sold out ahead of BigBang’s Hanoi concerts, according to the hotel. Traveloka figures also indicate that the performances pushed domestic travel searches above four times the normal level.
The Sheraton property is 500 metres from My Dinh National Stadium. Its marketing and communications director, Bui Ha Linh, said enquiries began with the concert announcement, followed by stronger bookings once the venue was named and tickets became available. Occupancy was already close to capacity by late August.
The hotel said some fans were staying an extra one or two days for sightseeing in Hanoi. Reservations from China and Southeast Asian countries had also increased.
Mövenpick Living West Hanoi reported a similar rise in demand. Le Kim Thu, who oversees sales and marketing, said concert attendance was the main reason for most guests’ stays during the period. Many booked two to three weeks before their visits, and the property recorded substantially more visitors from Southeast Asia.
G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung will perform in Hanoi as BigBang makes its official touring debut in Vietnam. The group’s XX: Cosmos world tour in 2026-27 is expected to include 33 performances across 19 cities. Within Southeast Asia, Hanoi alone is scheduled for two successive shows.
