Derry, New Hampshire Oct 10, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - LaBelle Winery has announced plans for its second annual outdoor holiday light festival, LaBelle Lights, at its Derry location. This year's displays will be more extensive than those at last year's inaugural event. More than 20 holiday light installations will be created using more than 250,000 energy-saving LEDs.
"Cesar and I are excited to share LaBelle Lights with the community again," says LaBelle's co-owner and winemaker, Amy LaBelle. "Our goal with this winter-themed festival is to bring cheer to people of all ages and help them escape the chaos of the holiday season. It's also a great way to lift people's spirits during the darkest time of the year. We hope everyone will mark the event's dates on their calendars and join us."
LaBelle Lights will take place weekly, Wednesday through Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to
9 p.m., starting on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, through Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023. Guests who attend the festival, which will be accessible to wheelchairs and strollers, will be able to view the light displays from the groomed pathways of the LaBelle Links golf course.
This year's show has been expanded to include LaBelle's newly constructed tasting room and its surrounding vineyard. The additional space has allowed the LaBelle Lights design team to introduce new features into the show.
Some of LaBelle Lights' illuminated features will include a 16-foot-tall walk-through ornament; a 14-foot-tall giant snowflake; a candy cane lane; a giant ornament cluster; a bling bridge; a 10-foot-tall teddy bear; and an antique Santa's sleigh pulled by a 10-foot-tall reindeer. One of the show's highlights, a meadow surrounded by hand-forged steel flowers, will be crafted by LaBelle's in-house artists, Josh Boisvert and Troy Garner.
Guests will be encouraged to take selfies with family and friends at designated selfie stations along LaBelle Lights' route and to post them on social media using the hashtag #labellelights.
Throughout December, LaBelle Lights will host four holiday-themed weeks:
Guests can participate by wearing festive garb. Those with the best outfits will be awarded prizes each Friday.
A Winterfest event will be held on Jan. 14 and 15, 2023.
Tickets for LaBelle Lights will be $10 for seniors; $16 for teens and adults aged 13 -64; $8 for children aged 4 -12, and free for children 3 and under. Tickets will be available onsite at LaBelle's tasting room and at www.labellewinery.com/lights.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase when attending LaBelle Lights. LaBelle Market and LaBelle's tasting room will have options for those who want to grab a quick bite.
Guests who want a more formal dining experience can make a reservation at LaBelle's onsite Americus restaurant. Guests who visit LaBelle Lights on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays between 4 and 6 p.m. will receive a 10 percent discount off their bill. Reservations can be made at www.labellewinery.com/dine or by calling (603) 672-9898.
Santa's Story & Snack, a children's event, on Friday, Dec. 23, and LaBelle's New Year's Eve Celebration, on Saturday, Dec. 31, will include a complimentary walk-through of LaBelle Lights. Tickets for either event can be purchased at www.labellewinery.com/public-winery-events or by calling (603) 672-9898 x 113.
Special packages will be available for groups booking private events that incorporate LaBelle Lights. Groups will have the opportunity to view the light show privately or publicly before or after their event takes place.
Nonprofits interested in incorporating LaBelle Lights into a fundraising opportunity will receive 50 percent of ticket proceeds.
Event organizers looking to book a winter corporate outing or group event featuring LaBelle Lights, and nonprofits that want more information about LaBelle Lights fundraising opportunities should contact Kimberly Cortino, LaBelle's director of sales, at kimberly@labellewinery.com.
From Nov. 16 through Dec. 12, LaBelle Lights ticket holders are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots.
Guests attending LaBelle Lights after Dec. 12 can support End 68 Hours of Hunger by bringing a canned soup or dried pasta.
Guests who give either organization a donation valued at $10 or more will receive a $5 coupon that can be redeemed at either LaBelle Winery location.
LaBelle Lights is also proud to support Empowering Angels, a nonprofit founded by Amy LaBelle, by donating a percentage of proceeds from ticket sales.
