Brisbane, Queensland Sep 9, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Brian Freeman plans on undertaking a human-powered expedition that will take him from the Northern most tip of New Zealand to its southernmost point, a journey of some 3000 kilometres. One of his objectives is to swim across the Cook Strait, a major ocean waterway separating the country's south and north islands. Regarded as one of the toughest swim challenges in the world, it is a further distance in excess of 22 kilometres.

But the adventures don't stop there. Brian Freeman also plans on completing the "Longest Walkable Distance on Earth," which spans more than 20,000 kilometres.

Experts predict that any adventurer planning on walking across this trail must be capable of travelling for 587 days to walk the entire distance. This means walking an average of 8 hours a day for a whole year. There will be 17 countries to cross, and weather conditions will vary continually throughout. The journey on this trail has been compared to multiple trips up and down Mount Everest.
